A closer look at the platform

A shared software architecture is planned for task setup, module configuration and operating records.

One connection. Three aspects

  1. Mechanical engagement

    Load path, stop and lock

  2. Power and data

    Contacts, wiring and communication

  3. Connection checks

    Tool identity and connection state

Different tasks. A shared connection

A ground-swapped interface is intended to connect mechanical retention, power, data and module identity.

Orion

The tool changes. The preparation must stay understandable

A camera and a gripper need different clearances, cables and working directions. Orion’s design asks what can remain shared and what must change with the tool. Access to the battery, the load path and the space below the aircraft all affect that decision.

For a first integration discussion, show us the object and the intended approach, including how the system could stop or withdraw. We can then separate what needs a bench experiment from what needs an aircraft test, with a clear result to establish at each stage.
