Environmental Sampling
Bring the evidence back.
A tool direction for collecting a local sample with its location and context.

A tool with a defined role

The task
Bounded environmental sampling tasks.
The intended result
A sample linked to where and how it was taken.

The action is part of a record
Relate the task, human confirmation and observed result. The tool direction is developed alongside a workflow that can be reviewed.
Integration to discuss
Interface, power, mass and control integration need to be agreed and validated for the intended platform and task.
Environmental Sampling
Keep collection and sample handling in the same method
A container of water is not yet a well-defined sample. Residual liquid, tubing changes and the inlet depth affect its provenance. The sampling direction considers a recoverable wet path and clear handling steps, so collection conditions remain associated with the container sent for analysis.
Tell us the intended analysis, required volume and cleaning method before choosing a pump or container. These determine what can share a flow path and what must be replaced. The current priority is a Triton-mounted water-sampling direction; flight-borne sampling requires its own platform assessment.
